ROTHERHAM COUNTY RESERVES v LEEDS UNITED
Leeds United obtained a surprising victory over Rotherham County Reserves at Millmoor before 3, 000 spectators. The game was openly and
vigorously contested, and the only goal of the match was a fine, fast, low drive by Ellson, who scored about a minute after the interval. Sutcliffe ran
out to save, but had no chance with the shot, the ball entering the corner of the net. The Leeds defence had a trying time in the first half, but was
always very steady.Leeds did most of the attacking in the second half, and were very dangerous in front of goal.
